For athletes young and old, Stockton offers a variety of sports activities. Roller and ice skating, hockey, baseball, laser tag, tennis, and skateboarding are just a few of what is available. The Stockton Recreation Department as well as the YMCA and other organizations offer ongoing programs of instruction, classes, and leagues.

Laser tag at Zaps Zone - a favorite for all ages. Teams compete in a split-level arena filled with obstacles and hiding places. A single laser tag session is $8. Zaps Zone also has party rooms, an arcade, a jumper, and a snack bar.

Stockton Indoor Sports Complex

Roller Skating, Roller Hockey, Indoor Soccer, Roller Derby -- all at the Stockton Indoor Sports Complex. Public skating sessions are offered on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon and evenings. Admission is $12 with skate rental. They carry both quad and inline skates. Roller Hockey has adult league games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus drop-in games for ages 15 and older.
Hours: Tuesday - Friday 3 PM to 10 PM, Saturday 1 PM to 10 PM
2-Hour Skate Sessions: Friday-Saturday start at 4, 6, and 8 PM; Sunday 5 and 7 PM

The Oak Park Ice Arena includes an 85 x 200-foot skating surface, a spectators' section, and a full-service pro shop. Birthday party rooms are available. Public Skate Session prices are $8 for everyone 5 years and older, includes skates

Oak park Ice Arena also offers a Learn to Skate program, Drop in Broomball, Drop in Hockey, Stick & Puck (hockey practice sessions), and more. Learn to Skate is open to all ages from tiny tots to adults. 45-minutes classes are followed by a public skate session which is included in the lesson price.

The Oak Park Tennis Center has 11 outdoor lighted courts for year-round use. Tennis players of all abilities are invited to use the courts. Private and group tennis lessons are available for children and adults. Fees range from $5 to $10 for a 90-minute session.

Club All Star

Club All Star maintains a youth baseball training complex with both indoor and outdoor facilities. Outdoor fields include the use of Billy Herbert Field at Oak Park. Indoors they have batting cages with pitching machines capable of serving up everything from slow-pitch arches to 70 MPH fastballs. Also, indoors are training areas with hitting stations, pitching mounds, and more. They offer private lessons as well as specialty lessons in hitting and other aspects of the game. Stockton Skate Park

The Stockton Skate Park is on El Dorado Street, between Swain Road and Benjamin Holt Drive. The park features a half-pipe, moon, rail, EMB, fun box, star, piano, and offset steps. Helmets and pads are required.

The Stockton Soccer Complex boasts 8 soccer fields, 4 of which have lights for night play. The facility has restrooms and parking. Picnic tables are located in the shade of oak trees overlooking the southern ends of the fields.
