Mexican Heritage Center Gallery

The Mexican Heritage Center and Gallery has been bringing Mexican visual and performing arts to the Stockton community since the late 1990s. The gallery displays art by local artists and celebrates traditional Mexican holidays such as the Day of the Dead. The Center also sponsors poetry readings, symposiums, and art workshops.

Art Expressions of San Joaquin

Art Expressions of San Joaquin's art can be viewed in the County Administration Building at 44 North San Joaquin Street, the Chase building, the RTD transit building, the San Joaquin office of Education, and Mezzo's Restaurant. Art Expressions goal is to promote and showcase the works of dedicated and talented artists with the rest of the San Joaquin Valley.

Reynolds Gallery, University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA

  Reynolds Gallery at the University of the Pacific

The Reynolds Gallery displays a diverse array of art from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. In recent months the gallery has shown works by Mexican-born painter and print maker Enrique Chagoya, a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian on the struggle of the Bracero, student work from around the campus, works by poster artist David Goines, works by region high school students, and by Bay Area artists. The Reynolds Gallery is found in the Jeannette Powell Art Center at the University of the Pacific.

  L. H. Horton Jr. Gallery

San Joaquin Delta College's L. H. Horton Jr. Gallery exhibits fine art by local, regional, and national artists. Each year the gallery holds an annual student show, a faculty or alumni show, and small group thematic shows along with a variety of other exhibits. The L. H. Horton Jr. Gallery is located in the Shima Center.
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 11 AM to 2 PM
