Stockton Golf Courses
Stockton is home to a pair of municipal golf courses - Van Buskirk and Swenson Park - along with a number of privately owned courses open to the public. We have included Micke Grove - even though it is in Lodi - since it is so close to Stockton.
Micke Grove Golf Links
Just a few miles north of Stockton at Micke Grove, the Micke Grove Golf Links offers an 18-hole course for players of all levels. Golf lessons are available. Rates with a cart range from $40 on weekdays to $63 on weekends. There are discounts for seniors, juniors, and early-bird, mid-day or twilight play.

Elkhorn Golf Club
The Elkhorn Golf Club, located near 8 Mile and Davis roads, is open for public play. The 97-acre, 18-hole course has 3 lakes, bunkers, and mature trees across its relatively level terrain. Rates with a cart range from $33 weekday twilight play to $60 weekend prime time. Facilities include a golf shop, practice facilities, and the Elkhorn Grill.

Oakmore Golf Course
Oakmore Golf Course is a privately owned 9-hole course which may be rented out in its entirety by groups for a full day of golf. Groups which rent the course have exclusive use of the facilities. It provides a great venue for fund-raising events, corporate outings, or other social gatherings. With double tees, the 9-hole can be played as 18. The course features bunkered greens, lakes, and mature trees. A minimum group of 40 pays $40 per person Monday to Thursday, $50 Friday through Sunday.

Oakmore Golf Course
Van Buskirk Golf Course - CLOSED
Van Buskirk Golf Course's 214 acres spread along the bank of the Walker Slough. With gentle terrain many players enjoy walking the 18-hole course, although carts are available. The golf course is owned by the City of Stockton. Weekday rates are $20-25, weekends $20-30. (Prices subject to change.) There are discounts for seniors, students, disabled persons, afternoon, and twilight play. A practice range is available.

Van Buskirk Golf Course
Swenson Park Golf Course
The City of Stockton's Swenson Park encompasses two golf courses, an 18-hole, par 72 course and a 9-hole, par 3 course. The courses are spread over gentle terrain scattered with mature oaks and small lakes. A practice range and golf carts are available there. Play on the 18-hole course is $25 on weekdays and $30-40 on weekends. The 9-hole Executive Course is $15 and $18. There are discounts for seniors, students, disabled persons, and twilight play. Swenson Park Golf Course
The Reserve at Spanos Park
The Reserve at Spanos Park is an 18-hole course on the north side of 8 Mile Road. The privately owned course is open to the public. The links style course has water hazards and bunkers. They have a driving range and pro shop. Green fees for the general public with a cart range from $40 after 3 PM to $75 on weekends from opening until 12:29 PM.
